Everybody Loves Disney | TAG

Disney-Book-TagHey guys!

I was tagged by Joey @ Thoughts and Afterthoughts to do the Disney Book Tag! If you haven’t checked him out, I recommend you do so now, he’s awesome. Every since I’ve been a little kid I’ve grown up with Disney movies and characters. I’ve already done the Disney Villains Book Tag, so I thought to continue and visit some of my favorite Princesses and Heroes!

So let’s begin~

Disney Ariel (samycat)The Little Mermaid — A character who is out of their element; a “fish out of water”

The Last SeekerTristen from The Last Seeker by Fleur Camacho. With very little guidance in becoming a Seeker, Tristen must figure things out  on his own. It doesn’t help when you have to deal with being a teenager with feelings.

Disney Cinderella (muse33)Cinderella — A character who goes through a major transformation

Red RisingDarrow from Red Rising by Pierce Brown. Poor Darrow had to be rebuilt from scratch. His appearance, his muslces and body, his personality and traits. He went from the lowest rung on the totem pole to the highest, almost losing himself in the process!

Disney Snow White (HollyBell)Snow White — A book with an eclectic cast of characters

Steel HeartSteelheart by Brandon Sanderson has a very eclectic cast of characters, both human and Epic. I loved reading about all the different powers and weaknesses. I wish I had Epic powers but still be one of the good guys though!

Disney Sleeping Beauty (VPDessin)Sleeping Beauty — A book that put you to sleep

HunterHunter by Mercedes Lackey. If you follow my blog then you know I recently attempted to read this book but in the end couldn’t finish it. In my review I state all the info dumping this book throws at you in a short amount of time. Hence why this book put me to sleep!

Disney The Lion King (Enzoda)The Lion King — A character who had something traumatic happen to them in childhood

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's StoneHarry from Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone by J.K Rowling. Everyone knows the dark Lord Voldemort went after Harry’s parents when he was just a baby, killing them. He had to grow up in a cupboard with his horrible aunt and uncle until he received his letter to attend Hogwarts.

Disney Beauty and the BEast (Vpdessin)Beauty and the Beast — A beast of a book that you were intimidated by, but found the story to be beautiful

Heir of FireHeir of Fire by Sarah J. Maas. This book was a massive brick. Very intimidating to read but very enjoyable. My favorite of the series so far and the best one in my opinion. Rowan was to die for, and Celaena was actually likable for once.

Disney Aladdin (Mareishon)Aladdin — A character who gets their wish granted, for better or worse

The Fault in Our StarsHazel from The Fault in Our Stars by John Green. As her last dying wish, she gets to travel to Amsterdam with Augustus to visit her favorite author who turns out to be a big ass. Although her wish had good intentions, it turned out worst for poor Hazel. But at least she had a romantic experience with Augustus to make up for it!

Disney Mulan (PriscillaTR)Mulan — A character who pretends to be someone or something they’re not

Red QueenMare from Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard. She is taken from her poor village of Reds to become a Silver Princess because of her powers. She finds it hard to be someone she is not, but she knows it’s for the safety of her family and her honor. (Get it?)

Disney Toy Story (Sketch-MOneky)Toy Story — A book with characters you wish could come to life

Falling KingdomsFalling Kingdoms by Morgan Rhodes. I really want these characters to be real! Or at least live in there world. Such an invigorating story with thick rooted magic and mythology!!

Disney Descendents (Rewrite98)Disney’s Descendants — Your favourite villain or morally ambiguous character

CinderQueen Levana from The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer. I don’t know what it is about her, maybe it’s her vanity, or her ruthless behavior, but she is absolutely captivating.

  1. I would agree with you on Levana being the best villian….the way she handles everything is just “wow, you gots talent, girl!” . Lol. Still hate her though

  2. Thanks for the tag!
I’m so jealous of how beautiful this post looks, teach me your ways 🙂
Queen Levana is definitely a top contender for my favourite ‘villain’ too, I just love her but hate her, you know?
What’s your favourite Disney movie out of these ones?
    Thanks again!

  3. I loved the pictures you’ve chosen! I also approve of all your answers besides the Toy Story one. Falling Kingdoms is definitelly not in my favorite books list. Anyway different opinions is what bring people closer~ 🙂

      1. Yeah I dnf-ed the first book and my review was a really angry one! I think I couldn’t really connect with the characters. I was told that the series gets better book by book but I am not sure I am patient enough to read them.

  4. God, I love Disney so much. I was going to do this tag on my Youtube Channel and I never got around to it. I really love it.
Great choices! They all fit really well. I think I’m going to have to read some Brandon Sanderson because everyone talks about him

  5. Ah I love the formatting of this post and the pictures you chose. AND I AGREE, ROWANNN! Heir of Fire really turned Celaena around for me, I think I vastly prefer her as Aelin!

  6. Oh my gosh, the illustrations you used are so beautiful! And it’s kind of funny that we both used Hunter for the Sleeping Beauty question. I can’t seem to get past ten percent, which is quite sad. I don’t want to DNF it though! :/ And awesome answers, Jesse!
