Comic Book Haul [#6]

Comic-Book-HaulHey guys!

Welcome back to another Comic Book Haul! Today I want to show you what I got this week in comics. I have always been a lover/reader/collector of all sorts of comic books and I can’t wait to show you which ones I got this week.

I’ve been so busy lately with back to school sales going on at my store and having to read six e-ARC’s before September 1st that I almost forgot to go to my local comic shop! But fortunately for you guys I didn’t. This week I picked up one comic and two graphic novels. Lately I’ve been getting into graphic novels a lot more and have recently read some seriously awesome ones too! So let’s begin with them.

Issues: 6

Collecting the epic second storyline of the smash hit series Entertainment Weekly called “the kind of comic you get when truly talented superstar creators are given the freedom to produce their dream comic.”  Thanks to her star-crossed parents Marko and Alana, newborn baby Hazel has already survived lethal assassins, rampaging armies, and alien monstrosities, but in the cold vastness of outer space, the little girl encounters her family’s greatest challenge yet:  the grandparents.

Rat Queens Vol.2

Rat Queens, Volume 2

Artist: Roc Upchurch
Publisher: Image Comics
Trade Paperback: May 6, 2015, $14.99

This booze-soaked second volume of RAT QUEENS reveals a growing menace within the very walls of Palisade. And while Dee may have run from her past, the bloated, blood-feasting sky god N’rygoth never really lets his children stray too far. Collects RAT QUEENS #6-10

If you guys have not read these two graphic novels yet then you are seriously missing out on some awesome fantastical stories!! Go go read them, I’ll wait here for you. I’m serious, go!

Next up I have the second issue of one of my favorite tv shows of all time. If you’ve been following my other comic book hauls then you know how I feel about this cartoon! As I sit here writing this post I am wearing my “Tina is My Spirit Animal” t-shirt from Hot Topic.
