September Monthly TBR

Hey Bookworms!

How’s it been going? As you can tell I am back… again. This past year has been a whirlwind and I found it hard to keep up with my reading and the blog. But as of recently, I have been sparked with some new creative juices and felt like it’s time to make a come back to the reading community. It probably won’t be at the capacity that I used to (I used to read A LOT), but I’m hoping to keep this going since I love it so much.

So let’s start out fresh this month with a new TBR that I will most likely not stick to, but it’s always fun to create lists, am I right?

Spin the Dawn by Elizabeth Lim

Rise by Ellen Goodlett

Soul of the Sword by Julie Kagawa

Ziggy, Stardust and Me by James Brandon

The Importance of Being Wilde at Heart by R. Zamora Linmark

These Divided Shores by Sara Raasch

This seems like the month of sequels! I have this habit of starting a series and when the next book finally comes out… I just don’t read them. I know it’s so sad because the first books are usually so good. But to right those wrongs, I have 3 sequels, Rise, Soul of the Sword, and These Divided Shores, to books I have read last year.

I also included the first book in a new fantasy, Spin the Dawn, with one of the most absolutely beautiful covers. The synopsis grabbed my interest even more!

And lastly, I have included 2 LGBTQ+ contemporaries as I want to read more books that I can relate to being part of the queer community, Ziggy, Stardust and Me and The Importance of Being Wilde at Heart. The synopsis’ sound very intriguing to me and I can’t wait to dive in!

Wish me luck!

#TBR: April 2019

Hey Bookworms!

Welcome to another TBR list that I probably won’t be able to accomplish… yay! Joking aside, it really is hard to stay on track with these lists because I’m such a mood reader that I just tend to pick up books that I gravitate to at the time. But oh well, I will try my best! There is not too much going on this month IRL. NO exciting events or concerts to mention, so I guess I will just be working hard and saving my coins. Hoping to move out with a few bookish besties near the end of the year, so I must lock up my piggy bank and save all the monies. Wish me luck!

Here is my TBR for this month, let’s see if I can stick with it this time!

#TBR: March 2019

Hey Bookworms!

This is an exciting month offline. I will be on vacation by the time this post goes up (March 2-11). My boyfriend and I will be basking in the Miami sunshine in South Beach. This is also the month I turn another year older. That has it’s pros and cons. HA! And it doesn’t end there. In the middle of March I will be watching Dear Evan Hansen on the Broadway stage in Toronto, and finally, me and some good friend will be going to the Sunmi (KPOP) concert. Phew. I am tired already, but it will definitely be the best month of the year so far!

#TBR: February 2019

Hey Bookworms!

So it feels like I took pretty much all of January off of blogging. I’ve been going through some things and thought I should just give myself a break to recharge and explore new things. This year I am focusing more on my personal life, and that includes writing this novel idea that has been swimming in my head forever. But anywho, I will be posting periodically and you can always find my NEW RELEASES of the year split by month up above in the menus ^^.

Here is my TBR for this month, let’s see if I can stick with it this time!

#TBR: December 2018 (Books at Dawn’s Monthly TBR)

Hey Bookworms!

Happy holidays everyone! I can’t believe we have entered into the last month of 2018. How crazy is that? Feels like yesterday that me and my friends were ringing in the new year and in deep conversations of all things we wanted to accomplish in 2018. It saddens me that I didn’t accomplish everything I set out to do this year, but it only lit a fire under my ass to get moving into 2019! But enough about that, you’re here for the books…

Here is my TBR for this month, let’s see if I can stick with it this time!

Hey, Bookworms!

Happy November everyone. We are in the height of autumn which sadly means that it will soon be coming to an end. In Canada, that means snow is on it’s way. I shiver at the thought of snow, pun intended. So grab a book, your choice of hot beverage and get comfortable, it’s going to be a long winter. I’m ready for it, are you?

Hey, Bookworms!

It’s officially October and you know what that means??!! It’s SPOOKY SEASON! Bust out your broom sticks and fake blood because it is time to let the scary out. To be honest I’m more of a Christmas holiday type of person, but I never shy away from the dark and scary. Can’t wait to start bingeing my favorite horror movies too. But this is not about that, this is about BOOKS!

Here is my TBR for this month, let’s see if I can stick with it this time!

Hey, Bookworms!

Hello September, its nice to see you again. Thank the book gods summer is almost over. I know what you’re thinking, but the heat and I are not good friends or on good terms. I HATE sweating, ugh. So hopefully the weather starts to cool down and I can start layering again! As for books, it seems fall is time for the best releases. So exciting!

Hey, Bookworms!

Long time no talk. This past month has been a roller coaster of events, both good and bad. It was officially summer break for most of you, but sadly as a fully formed adult that means nothing has changed… work, work, work. All that aside I have managed to have a pretty awesome summer so far, minus my laptop finally dying on me. Sad life. But, I finally bought a new one so I can start blogging again. Sorry for my absence!

Hey, Bookworms!

June was definitely a hard reading month for me. I felt a little slumpy which is probably I didn’t read as much as I wanted. I also took a vacay to Los Angeles… and I didn’t read a single thing while I was there. Super proud of myself… (sarcasm). Anywho, July will hopefully be a better month, so here we go!

Let’s see if I can stick with it this time!
