I know February is not over yet and it hasn’t been long since I last posted a book haul. But for two reasons I am posting My February Book Haul today. One of them being, I happened to accumulate quite a few books in such a short amount of time… (bad Jesse!). The other reason being, with my birthday coming up, I am refraining from buying any books just in case I get some for my birthday wishlist!

I have to admit that I hugged Morning Star for a couple of minutes when I got it last week. Now, I am reading it super slow because I am dreading it coming to an end. I also ordered Glass Sword. I actually ordered a paperback, but there was a mix-up, so they sent me a mail, saying that they would give me a hardcover copy without any additional costs. Sometimes I am really lucky.

YES! IRON GOLD! Thank the stars that Pierce is a fast writer.
I looked for a fitting edition for the Red Queen copy I already own and ordered that one and then they said that the publisher didn’t make it available to them after all. That’s why I got sent this one instead. I doubt that it happens often, unless there is some mix-up or delay and they want to make it up to you.

I’ve had my eye on so many of these books, so I might have to steal some from you. xD Isn’t Paula Brackston the lady who wrote ‘The Witch’s Daughter?’ I own a copy but I haven’t read it yet, because I’ve heard NOTHING about it. Have you read that one? 😀

She is! I haven’t actaully read any of her books yet. I’ve been wanting to get into more adult type fantasy fiction, and I thought I would give The Winter Witch a try since I like witches.

Great haul, Jesse! I haven’t finished Red Rising yet so I’m really late to the Pierce Brown train, but that picture of you two was lovely! I just looked up Wayward on GR because that art looks really nice. I really need to go graphic novel hunting soon. I hope you enjoy The Wicked and The Divine, I thought it was a really interesting story 😀

I just finished Chapter Two, his writing style takes a while for me to get used to XD and Darrow complains like a female protagonist sometimes, LOL. Other than that, I am liking the setting and the plot itself 😀
Yes TW+TD is also a fast read, I hope you like it! Now I really must give Wayward a try. I wish our library has more graphic novels I can borrow, they only seem to have the popular Marvel ones.

It’s classified as adult. Most bookstores will have it in adult sci-fi!

OMG!! Your haul is #goals! I just saw a review for Starflight and I am so on board for it! Fangirl has been on my TBR foreverrrrr and I really want to read contemporary, I can’t seem to stop my obsessive desire to read all the sci-fi/fantasy lol!! The cover for Winter Witch is really pretty, I love the purple hue, IDK, something about it contrasting with the white really caught my attention!

I LOVE FANTASY/SCI-FI. But I need to expand my horizons a bit more.
I think that was the reason I bought Winter Witch… besides the fact that it is about witches. My fav paranormal subgenre.
