Hey guys!
I was tagged by the lovely Deanna over at A Novel Glimpse to do The Desert Island Book Tag! As I would rather vacation in a city rather then a beach most of the time, this tag brought back all the fun memories I had of a cruise I took around the Caribbean a couple years back with my friends.
So thanks again Deanna for the tag!
Water: a book you can simply cannot live without.
I now have 2 all time favorite series that I cannot live without! They are none other then Falling Kingdoms by Morgan Rhodes, and Red Rising by Pierce Brown.
Food: a book that is a close second on your favorites list.
If I could have chosen my two favorite fantasies and two of my favorite contemporaries it would be these ones I’ve listed here and for the last question. I cannot live without these four books! Including Simon Vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli and The Five Stages of Andrew Brawley by Shaun David Hutchinson!
Shelter: a book that makes you feel at home and safe.
I’ll always have a soft spot for The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton. This book brings back so many childhood memories involving reading!
Flare gun: a book you would recommend to a person that doesnβt read.
The Serpent King by Jeff Zentner has a lot to offer, and I think non-readers would enjoy this one just as much as I did!
Fire-matches: a book that warms your heart.
Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon was such a heartwarming and cute adventure of a girl discovering the world for the first time!
Compass: a book that directed you towards your love of reading.
I’m not going to lie and say Harry Potter like everyone else in my generation because I’m not ashamed to say Twilight by Stephenie Meyer ignited my love for reading! I zoomed through all four books and have not looked back since!
That’s that. Now if I was really stuck on a deserted island I would not be thinking about books. I’d be freaking out about where I’m going to get clean underwear! (I know… priorities).
I TAG YOU

LOL on that last statement. So true! I love how you’d worry about dirty underwear more than the absence of food and clean water. π

Hey, this way we don’t have to share. You can have Edward, I’ll take Jacob. Haha

I really need to read Red Rising and Falling Kingdoms now! Both really appeal to me, and I think they’d be books I’d love! I adored Simon vs. too – it’s such a cute book, yet has such an important meaning! It’s on my favourites list too, for sure π

Haha, I zoomed through the Twilight books too! They were really interesting for me, and they introduced me to YA novels for the first time – ever since then I’ve just kept reading YA! π
