Fall Time Cozy Books | TAG

Hey guys!

I was tagged by Prima over at Panda Hearts Books to do this tag. Fall is one of my favorite seasons of the year and currently the one I am living through right now. As the days start to get colder, all I want to do is drink tea and cozy on up with a good book. So this tag was just to perfect for my current mood!

Crunching Leaves

The world is full of colour – Book that has a red/orange/yellow cover

This cover of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is perfect. With nice shades of red and orange with a backdrop of a setting sun it just screams cozy time!

Cozy Sweater

Book that gives you the warm fuzzies

This book right here, Simon Vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda gave me the biggest fuzzies ever. It was absolutely adorable and cute and just the best coming of age/coming out story I have read in a long time. It’s a must read!

Fall Storm

Favorite book or genre for a rainy day

I usually like to spend rainy days watching movies or TV shows in bed. But if I’m going to read something, it will most likely be a mystery or thriller like, The Snow Empress. That book would be perfect for a fall storm.

Cool Crisp Air

The coolest character that you would love to trade places with

I would choose Aelin from Queen of Shadows for a couple reasons. One would be because she is a cool assassin, two would be because she has cool magical powers, but the most important reason would have to be: so I can share a bed with Rowan… and you know… do other things with him!

Hot Apple Cider

An underhyped book that should become the next best thing

I feel like A Dance of Cloaks is not hyped up enough. Its a pretty solid high fantasy novel that not a lot of people are reading. So this is my invitation to you guys to go out and get yourself a copy. If you like assassins and general badassery, then you will love this book!

P.S. It’s also a six book series. You can thank me later!

Coat, Scarves and Mittens

Fall is the time to cover up – book that has an embarrassing cover that you would keep hidden in public

The original cover of Throne of Glass is hideous and would therefore need to be covered up from the general viewing of the public. Thankfully the publisher realized this and did a cover change that is better suited for what the novel embodies.

Can publishers just stop using cover models please. It’s not cute.

Pumpkin Spice

Favorite fall time comfort food/ drink?

For drink, I would have to say black tea. Preferably English Breakfast or Orange Pekoe.

For food it would have to be Korean Soon Tofu. Its hot and soup based and just perfect for cold brisk fall/winter days!
