Emoji’s Galore | TAG

Emoji-TagHey guys!

I was tagged by Rae over @ BookmarkChronicles. Thank you so much for tagging me! You guys should check out her blog now, because I said so!

So the point of this tag is to choose your 5 most used emoji’s and match them up to a book that evicted that particular emotion. As I am an avid emoji user this should be a interesting and fun tag to do! So let’s get into it!

Saga Vol. 1The winking face omits the cheeky/flirty side of me, so what better book to choose then Saga, Volume 1 by Brian K. Vaughan and art by Fiona Staples! This graphic novel is so cheeky with all of its sexual content and witty commentary. I see you creepy giant headed, long legged prostitutes from Sextillion. Read the graphic novel if you want to know what I’m talking about there!

Rat Queens Vol.1The laughing out loud emoji omits tears of laughter from me, so what better book to choose then Rat Queens, Volume 1 by Kurtis J. Wiebe and art by Roc Upchurch. There were many points in this graphic novel that had me laughing out loud, and it takes a lot to make me do that! But when you have four crazy, funny, complete opposite female mercenaries you can’t help but LOL while reading! Go pick this up if you want a good laugh!

CinderDon’t hate me guys, but the not impressed emoji omits expressionless, “come on really?”, “you’ve got to be kidding me”, emotions from me and there is no other book I would choose for it then Cinder by Marissa Meyer. If you read my review of the book then you know how unimpressed with it I was. I’ve read numerous reviews and watched a lot of praise videos on BookTube for this book, but it ultimately fell flat for me in many ways. I just didn’t love it like everyone else. Don’t get me wrong, I liked it, just was not impressed by it.

Falling KingdomsThe heart eyes emoji omits absolute infatuation and love, so there is no other book that compares to that emotion for me then Falling Kingdoms by Morgan Rhodes! If you guys know me by now, then you know that the Falling Kingdoms series is my absolute favorite of all time. If I could marry it I think I would. It’s that serious guys! So go pick yourself up a copy and hardcore fanboy with me. K, thanks bye.

Throne of GlassThe stressed out, give me a massage emoji omits high levels of frustration to the point where I need a head massage like ASAP. And there is no better book then Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas. I had a love hate relationship with this book. My biggest issue was the main character Celaena. She was beyond frustrating that I needed to massage my head from all the stress she caused. If you’ve read my review, then you know why.

Well there you have it! My five most used emojis and the books that match with that emotion. I hope you enjoyed this tag and let me know down in the comments if you felt the same way as me. If not, tell me why!

Until next time,

Here’s where I TAG you!

Skylee @ The Night Girl

Flo @ Flowless Books

The girls over @ Deadly Darlings

If you’ve done the tag, or if tags just are not for you then feel free to ignore~

  1. I loved this post! It was great to see your answers. It such a shame that you didn’t really enjoy Throne of Glass 😢
And may I just say, I think you used a wrong word here, I think what you mean instead of omit is actually emit! Just letting you know. However, just double check the meanings because I may be wrong! xoxo
